Community-Centered and Family-Owned
At Route 66 Classic Grill, community is at the heart of everything we do. We proudly support local vendors, fundraisers, charities, and high schools in Canyon Country and the surrounding areas. As a family-owned and operated small business, we have roots in the Santa Clarita Valley, San Fernando Valley, and Simi Valley. We aim to continue being a cherished fixture in the Santa Clarita Valley, offering a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere where everyone can come together to create lasting memories.

Meet The New Owners

Meet The New Owners
Owners Tim and Jo, high school sweethearts and UCLA graduates, first ventured into the restaurant industry at the young age of 24 by purchasing Beeps Diner in Van Nuys, CA. For over 30 years, they have successfully run Beeps Diner, creating a beloved community staple. Following in their footsteps, Tim Jr. (Little Tim) joined the family business seven years ago when his parents expanded to Simi Valley's Beeps Diner. Together, we are now bringing new life to Route Classic Grill!

Historic Route 66

Historic Route 66
It's been called the Mother Road and America's Main Street. It was 2,200 miles of pavement linking Illinois to California: the road leading to opportunity and freedom - virtues that defined an entire culture. Thousands followed this asphalt ribbon from Chicago to the Pacific, bringing with them the hope of a new beginning.

The 1950's were triumphant for Route 66. For The first time since the close of the World Wars, folks took to the open road. With their windows rolled down and their radio blaring, enjoying the journey was every bit as important as reaching the destination with that new beginning.

Food was an integral part of those journeys that marked the nation's introduction to roadside diners. Perched on gleaming chrome counter stools or in cozy, vinyl-clad booths, families felt at home in the dining spots along Route 66. A big menu with mouth-watering choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the grills and diners along Route 66 had the standards like burgers and sizzling bacon with humongous pancakes, while serving regional favorites and specialties like tri-tip and BBQ chicken.
